Lloyd’s confirms re-election of Council members

Lloyd’s, the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance market, has today announced the re-election of Victoria Carter, Marcus Johnson and Sean McGovern (representing AXA XL Syndicate Limited) as members of the Council of Lloyd’s when their current terms of office expire on 30 November 2026.

Notes to editors

The Council of Lloyd’s comprises 15 members split between 6 elected non-executive members, 6 nominated non-executive members and 3 executive members (CEO, CFO and Chief of Performance and Strategy).

Non-executive members of the Council generally serve for renewable terms of three years, subject to a maximum overall tenure of 9 years (in line with wider governance best practice).
